They say that you should never meet your hero's today I did and I wasn't disappointed, the 2017 incarnation of "The Pony" car is fantastic, I loved driving it so much so that I have temporarily abandoned my Range Rover Sport. I have wanted one of these since I sneaked into the Cinema to watch " Bullitt" in 1968 at the impressionable age of 10, I'm now 63 and I'm kicking myself for not getting one before now, anyway back to this car. It's not a 5 litre but when John went to pick it up, according to the trip computer it averaged 42 Mpg and it will do 0 to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds which I think is brilliant, the 6-speed gearbox is well matched to the engine and it's about the slickest change I have ever experienced, it's sublime!
The car is finished in Ingot Silver Metallic, Black Roof, black 19" Multi Spoke Alloys with Ebony Leather heated and cooled sports seats, there are adjustable modes for the engine and steering, and you can switch the stop start off for the duration of your journey in the settings menu. It has the Ford Sync 3 touch screen sat nav, with bluetooth handsfree and audio streaming, it also has Apple Car Play which is the best, but you have to be connected by a lead to the USB socket, however there are aftermarket kits which will adapt this to bluetooth as well, the shaker sound system is also tremendous, if you like music then this will be a treat. Other features include climate control, keyless entry and go, power folding door mirrors, height and reach adjustable multi function steering wheel, mood lighting, reversing sensors and reversing camera.
With ultra-low mileage, great specification and an exemplary Ford Main Dealer service history this car has to be one of the best available for sale at this moment, please not i will be using it, and I hope to have a drive up to John O'Groats at the weekend so please be sure to check the mileage when you enquire
