This Pininfarina design Maserati Quattro Porte (Four Doors) it has a 4.2 8 cylinder 32 V Ferrari/Maserati collaboration engine (as fitted to the 430 ) which has a 0 - 60 mph time of 5.2 seconds and Top speed of 171 mphFinished in Grigio Touring Metallic with Black Poltrona Frau Leather Maserati Crest Embossed Upholstery, Piano Black Insets to the Dash, Gear Tunnel and Door Cards, External Grilles 20" 7 Spoke Alloy Wheels and Red Calipers. It has the Duo SelectElectro Hydraulic Gearbox with Sports Mode, Auto and Manual Settings with Paddle Shift Overide, The Skyhook Adaptive suspension deals effectively with any conditions the road can throw in your way (including speed bumps) The Multi function steering wheel is electrically height and reach adjustable, and the front and rear seats are individually electrically adjustable too with the drivers seat having 3 position memory, the headlamps are Auto Bi Xenon with High-Pressure Wash, It has the 6.5" Sat Nav, with Trip Computer, Multiplay CD Radio with Bose Speakers, GSM Phone Kit in the Front Armrest (looks good but doubt if it works now) Heated Front Seats, power folding door mirrors and front and rear parking
Here are some notes from the previous owner to clear up a couple of points
It is not air suspension but does have skyhook electronic dampers.
The Quattroporte Sport GT variant offered several performance upgrades: a re-configured transmission providing faster gearshifts and a firmer Skyhook suspension system; courtesy of new software calibrations, seven-spoke 20 inch wheels with low-profile tyres, cross-drilled brake rotors, and braided brake lines. Model-specific exterior trim included dark mesh front and side grilles and red accents to the Trident badges, as on vintage racing Maserati models. Inside, there were aluminium pedals, a sport steering wheel and carbon fibre in place of the standard wood inserts.
It doesn't have Bluetooth. I think the small microphone was for a Parrot bluetooth system or similar
The Larini catalytic converters give the better sound but the rest of the pipes and back boxes are as original
The V8 engines of the fifth generation of the Quattroporte belonged to the Ferrari-Maserati F136 family; they had aluminium-silicon alloy block and heads, a crossplane crankshaft, four valves per cylinder driven by two overhead camshafts per bank and continuous variable valve timing on the intake side. F136S 4.2-litre engines in DuoSelect equipped cars used a dry sump lubrication system
The Ferrari has a flat plane crank but the Maserati has a cross plane crank. That is why Ferrari make a different distinctive engine sound!
If anyone queries if this engine has variator problems (rattle on start up when cold) this only applies to later engines. Even so it is only caused by low oil pressure until pumped round. This car has a dry sump oil system, later cars with the 4.7 engine are conventional wet sump.
When I replaced the tyres I put 10mm wider tyres on it - the Sport GT S model has these as standard on the same rims
